Welcome to my NSCC portfolio. I am currently enrolled in the I.T. program at the Institute of Technology campus in Halifax. I have chosen programming as my concentration.

I have taken an interest in computers since age 10. By the time I was 14, I had already started to teach myself to program. In high school, I received academic honours, and although no computer-related courses were available in my hometown of Yarmouth at the time, I excelled at Math and science-related subjects.

Aside from my interest in computers, I'm an amateur photographer with a focus on outdoor scenery. I enjoy travelling, and camping whenever possible. I also have a keen interest in music, which includes playing the saxophone, and writing electronic music.

I gained valuable I.T. skills in the workforce while working for two different technology companies in Yarmouth, over a period of four years. While working for these companies, I dealt primarily with domain names and hosting. I worked both as a technical support agent for small business clients, and as a background fulfillment specialist for large corporations.

Now I am fortunate enough to have made the decision to enroll at NSCC, and am on the path to a fulfilling career! This portfolio is not only a requirement for my graduation, but is, and will continue to be a collection of my knowledge and success stories throughout my career. I hope to continue sharing these successes in the future.
